Mother’s Day 2017

As Mothers Days go, this was not a bad one.  It actually all started on Friday morning when a knock on the door revealed the delivery of a lovely bunch of flowers.  Eddie had chosen well as the bouquet included my favourite flowers – Freesias and Roses – and was beautiful.

As we knew that Sunday was going to be an odd day, as youngest son was at a rugby festival from 9.30 until 13.30, so we decided to head up to Matlock for the day on Saturday. I will have a separate post about Matlock on here within the next few days.

The actual day itself – youngest son was up early and cooked a breakfast that any mum would be proud of.  He made homemade hash browns, cubed potatoes with Smokey bacon and cheese, bacon, eggs and spaghetti.  Sadly I have no pics as I was too hungry and scoffed it all down very quickly!!!

The rugby festival itself was good – we only went down to watch half of it but Ewan played well, always made better when the Sun is shining.

Spent a bit of time setting up some blog posts in the afternoon, before heading out for tea at 6pm.  Got the Final Fantasy game for Xbox one as  pressie so will do a separate post for that at some point in the near future.
