Summer feels, Easter weekend and general update
Well, long time no speak…..sorry for being AWOL for sooo long……but I thought it was time for an Easter update. I started the year determined to get a regular blog schedule going, and was actually doing ok, but then my usual self-doubt kicked in. Not sure if it’s hormonal or what, but my mind messes with my mojo every now and then. Social media doesn’t help. Weekend in Cambridge

I have been to Liverpool before; I have had a girly night with my sister and a family day out on another occasion. On the family one we did the cavern and there was a tribute artist and I loved it. I wondered if I would find it all samey but I definitely didn’t. Rather than get the train, we decided to drive up. The…

Trip to Leeds
A Couple of weeks ago, my sister Katherine and I took a trip to Leeds. It was a spur of the moment trip booked as a part of celebrating her birthday. It is a few years since we last took a trip so it was nice to get away without the kids and our husbands to do a bit of shopping and relaxing! Getting the train The start of the day was hectic! It looked as though Kath might miss the train. Her husband skreeched (spelling? – is it even a word?) into the drop off point with about 2 minutes to spare. As usual, I had got chatting to a…
