Day off with Eddie

Work has been really stressful and busy of late, so when Eddie said he was taking the day off to get his car serviced I jumped at the chance and booked the day off too.  With nothing in mind for what to do for the day, we headed into Derby to do a bit of shopping – not very successful, a couple of doggy toys and laundry bins from Tiger was all we purchased.  But we had a fantastic lunch at a place called Mexico – website here

Really enjoyed the lunch, but couldn’t finish it all – most unlike me.  Not listed on the Weightwatchers app so having to guess at points and not looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow as its been one of those weeks really…..anyway some pics of the gorgeousness…..

After the lunch, we went back to the garage to pick up the newly serviced car and decided to pick Luna and Chloe up to go for a walk in the sunshine.  We headed over to Straws Bridge in Ilkeston and walked out along some of the fishing ponds.  It was lovely – not really warm warm but nice nonetheless.  Chloe used it as an excuse to get some pics of birds for her Art project.

Must admit I came home for a nap – just been a long week and early starts with Luna have taken there toll too……all in all a good day!
