Weekly Update 6 – York in one day!
Welcome to another post. This week has mostly been work (as per usual!) but I have also managed to have a day trip to York this weekend! So let’s dive into that. Summer feels, Easter weekend and general update
Well, long time no speak…..sorry for being AWOL for sooo long……but I thought it was time for an Easter update. I started the year determined to get a regular blog schedule going, and was actually doing ok, but then my usual self-doubt kicked in. Not sure if it’s hormonal or what, but my mind messes with my mojo every now and then. Social media doesn’t help. Not so lazy days off
I decided to book a day off for Eddies birthday. His birthday fell on Thursday but I decided to take the Friday off to make a nice long weekend. This birthday is so different to last years read here for that post. Although the weather a couple of weeks ago was ok, it has definitely gone back to being Winter with wind and rain most of the time. They forecast that the morning would be a clear icy morning – my favourite. Day trip out to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park
During half term last week, I only had the one day off work with the kids. Wanting to do something with them that didn’t cost the earth; my daughter, who is an art student, suggested the Yorkshire Sculpture Park for a good day trip. She had been for a visit with college and enjoyed it, however, she hadn’t had time to do a fraction of it. She also said it was dog friendly, so we took Luna along.
