Weekly Update 8 – Glamping with a teen!
Weekly update 8 is a little different, there is a theme – Glamping with a teen. Well, sort of theme. I have booked various days off to break the summer hols up for my 14-year-old. I know he doesn’t need me now he has a gaming PC with Fortnite, but I am sure he will thank me when he looks back on happy memories (ha – anyone with a teen will know that this is the plan but the reality is very different!). Birthday weekend away at the coast
So sometimes I think I have a very old-fashioned term of phrase (in fact saying “term-of-phrase” is probably an old-fashioned term of phrase…..) Anyway, it was a cause for amusement at work when I declared that our weekend away a the seaside was actually a visit to “the coast”……I mean yes I suppose it is old-fashioned, but I also know what a meme is and how it’s funny so that must balance it out……doesn’t it?
