Weekly Update 13 – Happy Birthday to me!
Hi, welcome to another Weekly Update, this one is my birthday post! This is actually a weekly update covering a few weeks. We have had the Ilkeston fair and had the October half-term holidays, but I didn’t take any time off. Ewan came to work with me for two of the days and I worked from home as usual for two days. Weekly update 12 – Pumpkins and fashion!
Well hello – I thought it was high time I did another Weekly Update post so welcome to Weekly update 12!! The one with the pumpkins and fashion – not necessarily words you expect to find in the same sentence!! Its been a mad few weeks with Uni Visits to Loughborough and Birmingham for child No 2. Not so lazy days off
I decided to book a day off for Eddies birthday. His birthday fell on Thursday but I decided to take the Friday off to make a nice long weekend. This birthday is so different to last years read here for that post. Although the weather a couple of weeks ago was ok, it has definitely gone back to being Winter with wind and rain most of the time. They forecast that the morning would be a clear icy morning – my favourite. Weekend in Cambridge
Eddie decided last year he wanted to do the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon, and I didn’t mind. I have told him that as long as the races are in nice places to visit I am more than happy.

Midweek Tea Break
Thought I would try a different sort of post for 2019. I am hoping to try and post this every week midweek. It’s only supposed to be a short post – something to digest on your hump day afternoon tea break!
