World Book Day & review of my 2019 reading challenge
As a parent there is nothing worse than a child uttering the words “it’s world book day tomorrow”. Then the pure panic sets in for what outfit to wear. Ewan is almost 15 and I thought the World Book Day days were firmly behind us….apparently not. So I spent some time googling teenage book character; teenage male book characters; easy male book character costumes. In the end, we settled on Archie from Archie comics (the Riverdale character) as it’s effectively a denim jacket, hoodie, white T-shirt and jeans!! No expense spent!! This years reading challenge
Today I have been sorting out my bedroom – feels like I was busy for hours but only just scratched the surface. I did find a couple of books that had worked themselves into a hiding spot! This got me thinking about my personal reading challenge for this year. Every year I seem to set myself a target to read so many books, but life gets in the way and I don’t always read them. Thought I would try a different sort of post for 2019. I am hoping to try and post this every week midweek.
