Is Noom worth the subscription fee?
You may recall a few weeks ago I decided upon a new approach to my diet and fitness – if you have no idea what I am talking about you can read the post here. Then I found Noom! At the time I wrote the post I was not feeling great about my weight loss efforts and my appearance. I had been following WW (Weightwatchers) on and off for which felt like forever. In the previous year, I think I had lost what added up to about 4lbs!! This is not a sponsored post. I paid for my subscription and do not earn affiliate income. I will be honest about…

Being healthy 80% of the time – is it good enough?
Today I saw some pictures of myself which I really didn’t like. It’s really really upset me, and yet again I realise that my relationship with food has led me down a dark path. Being healthy 80% of the time – is it good enough to help fix how I feel about my weight and appearance? Anyone who has read this blog for a while knows of my ongoing struggle with my weight and exercise. I am nothing if not a trier!!! (or is that trying ? ) Learning to be happy the way I am….. In fact, I decided to seek guidance from good old Google, to see if…

New fitness challenge
So in order to help with my weight loss journey, I purchased a subscription to Beach Body on Demand. I started off looking around and doing the 21 day fix but then I got ill and had to miss a week. Whilst off I was watching a Youtuber who has a facebook group for fitness challenges and they were starting 80 day obsession from the beginning of March, so I joined the group and it’s been brilliant. I mean it’s hard, actually scrap that it’s really bloomin’ difficult. Some of the positions they expect you to get into a contortionist might struggle with. I have been introduced into a world…

Weightloss update on WW
I posted a while ago about going back to WW (it was Weightwatchers when I rejoined). The previous post is here. Anyway, I decided it was time I did a Weightloss update post! Weight loss update – So how am I doing? It’s been a rollercoaster ride. When I rejoined last July, I had gained 1 stone 6 from when I finished the year before. I was determined that this time would be different. Really I did quite well up until the middle of August – think I had lost around 9lbs. The summer hols meant that I then kind of stayed the same; I either maintained or I lost 2…

Weight loss update?
I have been doing weight watchers for about 6 weeks now, so I thought it was time for a quick update on how it’s going. I may try and do a weekly diary – let me know if this is something you would like to read! Weight loss progress Its been fairly slow, I lost an amazing 5 lbs in my first week, then I have done much smaller amounts since. In total I have lost 9 lbs to date – the app isn’t telling me that. As I rejoined from last year it’s only telling me the difference from when I joined in Feb 2017 to now rather than what…
