Liverpool birthday post
I didn’t want any big presents for my birthday this year. All I wanted was a nice night away from it all. Perhaps with a meal with some shopping thrown in. We looked at lots of alternatives but picked out Liverpool and I wasn’t disappointed. Trip to Leeds
A Couple of weeks ago, my sister Katherine and I took a trip to Leeds. It was a spur of the moment trip booked as a part of celebrating her birthday. It is a few years since we last took a trip so it was nice to get away without the kids and our husbands to do a bit of shopping and relaxing! Getting the train The start of the day was hectic! Weekend – Shopping and food food food!
Early Start to the weekend Last weekend was a busy one. On Saturday, we had to be up at 6am, to take Tom and his friends off for a Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition to Ilam in Derbyshire. They all headed off with all of their gear, into soggy Derbyshire! Next we popped into Nottingham, we had a present to buy for my God Daughters confirmation and I needed an outfit. London Marathon Weekend with sightseeing and shopping!
Last weekend, we had a child free weekend in London. Eddies mum came to stay to look after Luna and the kids, whilst we headed off for the train from Nottingham to London St Pancras. Eddie and I were so excited as its years since we last had a trip to London. Of course nothing is ever that straight forward for us, so first to back track to Thursday…..
