March 2020 Update – read and then Wash your Hands!
Well hello there! Sorry for the lack of posts. Here is my March 2020 update post. As many of you might know, we are in the midst of a global pandemic and crisis. Not so lazy days off
I decided to book a day off for Eddies birthday. His birthday fell on Thursday but I decided to take the Friday off to make a nice long weekend. This birthday is so different to last years read here for that post. Although the weather a couple of weeks ago was ok, it has definitely gone back to being Winter with wind and rain most of the time. They forecast that the morning would be a clear icy morning – my favourite. Liverpool birthday post
I didn’t want any big presents for my birthday this year. All I wanted was a nice night away from it all. Perhaps with a meal with some shopping thrown in. We looked at lots of alternatives but picked out Liverpool and I wasn’t disappointed. I have been to Liverpool before; I have had a girly night with my sister and a family day out on another occasion. On the family one we did the cavern and there was a tribute artist and I loved it. Snow days, birthdays and charity days
Snow Days This week has been an odd one. We had the threat of “The Beast From the East” hitting the UK. We were all on alert for the worst snow in years. It didn’t quite hit us like they said it would, but Weds night the snow came and came and it continued into all day Thurs and some of Friday. Ewan and Tom’s school closed both Thursday and Friday and I am in the lucky position that means I can work from home.
