Birthday weekend away at the coast
So sometimes I think I have a very old-fashioned term of phrase (in fact saying “term-of-phrase” is probably an old-fashioned term of phrase…..) Anyway, it was a cause for amusement at work when I declared that our weekend away a the seaside was actually a visit to “the coast”……I mean yes I suppose it is old-fashioned, but I also know what a meme is and how it’s funny so that must balance it out……doesn’t it? Warm Bank Holiday weekend
This weekend was unusual for this country in that it was warm. I don’t just mean a little warm, it was lovely and hot even in the evening which makes a nice change for a bank holiday weekend. We didn’t have a lot planned, but the weekend started with a couch to 5k session (Week 1 day 2) with Ewan on Friday evening. Plus a drink in a pub beer garden after. Luna’s 1st Birthday
Quick update post as little Luna our Jack Chi puppy has turned one this week. We got Luna in February when she was just 8 weeks old. She has changed a lot in that time, but we just can’t imagine our home or life without her now. Some pics to show how much she has changed I can’t believe how tiny she is in some of these photo’s! Another busy week…. cake recipe for halloween
Another crazy busy week. Work is still mad which resulted in long days, so no running or gym for me again. I managed to book Thursday and Friday off so I could spend a little bit of the half term holidays with Eddie and the kids. And it was Halloween in my house…… Thursday We didn’t do huge amounts. It was visits to the orthodontist and doctors, but we had a nice lunch out followed by a visit to the cinema. The film of choice was Thor : Ragnarock. Holiday to The New Forest (Part One)
Apologies for not posting in ages. I was mad busy at work and then with the school holidays there just wasn’t enough time.
