My week – general chit-chat update – 29 September 18
I am in the middle of doing a few blog posts. All are unfinished……I have been in the middle of a really busy/stressful time at work, especially this week. So that has had to be the focus. Just shows that I am still struggling to get the work-life balance I wrote about previously! So I am afraid I am doing just another chatty post…..hope you don’t mind! Birmingham Pamper Day
Saturday – Birmingham Spa Day My sister is training as a Beauty Therapist. She has just finished Level 2 and has started on level 3. As a part of her course, she has got to work on “models” (guinea pigs!!) and she asked me to go with her to her college in Birmingham on Saturday. As her college is in Birmingham, it was a 7.15am start on Saturday; this wouldn’t normally be a problem for me, but a late night the night before (due to Eddies Fifa night with his mates) meant for a tired Julie on Saturday when the alarm went off at 6 am! The year so far……….
Poorly Me Again I seem to be apologising for lack of posts, this year has been a struggle this year so far. January and was a horrible month………….as I put in my last post I got the flu on New Year’s Eve, finally perked up when I wrote my last post, but really only for a couple of days. I ended up on antibiotics for a chest infection and if I am totally honest, still do not feel well. New Forest Part two
Here is part two from our family holiday to the New Forest. New Forest Open Top Bus Tour The open top bus tour stopped on our caravan site. It cost £38 for all of us (and Luna was free). There are 3 loops, Green, Red and Blue; as the ticket covers all routes and you can hop on hop off between routes – so it was definitely money well spent. We had an amazing time and saw some lovely villages – we didn’t see all of it, but we did each route and got on and off at Lymington Pier, Lyndhurst, and Burley before heading back to our site.
